Consultation

CSC is your partner in charge.

We offer expertise, strategic advice, systematic problem solving, assessment and treatment planning, and hands-on training to help your organization reach its vision of excellence. We work with families, schools, mental health centers, juvenile justice agencies, policymakers, and other youth-serving agencies and providers to implement effective, yet practical changes and achieve desired outcomes.

CSC’s consultation approach is both an art and a science; one that welcomes your expertise and knowledge throughout its entirety. We use research-informed assessment techniques to capture a comprehensive understanding of the presenting problem, and assessment results inform a personalized action plan grounded in evidence-based best practice solutions. We then work collaboratively with you and your team to tailor the action plan to meet your unique needs and to ensure we are designing a system that is practical and a good contextual fit for your organization.

Multi-Tiered System of Support

We design and propose a multi-tiered system of support informed by assessments, data analyses, and conversations with schools. The tiers include Foundational Supports, Tier 1 Prevention-Oriented Supports, Tier 2 Early Intervention Supports, and Tier 3 Intensive Intervention Supports.

Implementation

We collaborate with the attendance team to create an action plan for implementing the multi-tiered system starting with foundational supports. We provide ongoing and as-needed hands-on training, implementation assistance, and intervention troubleshooting.

Monitoring

We help schools monitor weekly data and facilitate monthly team meetings to review progress towards meeting outcomes, revise the plan as needed, add or change interventions, etc. We also facilitate year-end data reviews to guide early outreach efforts for students and families at the start of the next school year.
