Madeline A Wiss

Clinical & Community Engagement Specialist

Madeline Wiss is the Clinical & Community Engagement Specialist at the Center for Supportive Communities. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas, where she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Madeline is dedicated to helping children and families develop the skills they need for long-term wellbeing. She focuses on building strong, collaborative community relationships and applies evidence-based practices to drive meaningful change.

Madeline first joined CSC as an undergraduate Behavioral Health Mentor working alongside K-12 students, their families, and schools. In this role, she applied evidence-based interventions to re-engage students experiencing truancy and taught practical skills such as anxiety management and healthy routines. What she valued most was the opportunity to connect with each student’s unique personality and collaborate with their support networks to help them succeed.

Madeline enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, French Fry, watching reality TV, and cheering on KU football and basketball.
